How to add organization ? in Maximo

  • Creation of Organization comes under Organization level

  •  Open Org application from Administrator module

  •  Select new

  •  Add name of the Organization and description 

  •  Add the Base Currency 1 and Base Currency  2(optional)

  •  Add Item set and Company sets

  •  Set Default Item Status: as active

  •        Set Default Stock Category: as  stk.

  •        Add GL account to organization

  •        Check  the check box to make organization active

    •   Now open  address tab and add all the required details.




  • Open sites tab .Select new row and add the site name and contact person of site.

     

    • Make site active by checking check box

     

 

                              
OBSERVATION:

  •  EVERY ORGANIZATION CAN HAVE MANY NUMBER OF SITES  

  • ORGANIZATION CAN ONLY BE DELETED  NO SITE IS  Associated WITH IT  

  • BMXAA3909E - This organization cannot be deleted because there are sites associated with it

  •  Default Item Status SHOULD ALWAYS BE ACTIVE ELSE THE FOLLOWING ERROR RAISES

  •  BMXAA5609I - This action is not allowed since the item PUMP is in Pending or Obsolete status

  • Default Stock Category SHOULD ALWAYS BE STK ELSE THE FOLLOWING ERROR WILL RAISE DURING ISSUING ITEM TO STOEROOM 

  • BMXAA7922E - The item cannot be added to the storeroom. The stock category of the item is Non-Stocked for the current organization.

  • THE ORGANIZATION SHOULD HAVE  valid financial period. ELSE THE FOLLOWING ERROR WILL RAISE 

  • BMXAA1198E - The date is not within a valid financial period.
